It combines a wonderfully responsive keyboard with a rich even smooth sound, with a fat bottom and smooth easy blowing top end. The bronze body and neck lead to a more complex and a slightly darker tone than it's all brass counterpart, the TW010. In terms of durability and soundness of construction there is perhaps no better saxophone available today. It is truly an elegant horn , not overly engineered but precisely and gracefully designed with no corners cut. Yanagisawa has produced a genuinely first class instrument.
