The is one of the last Mark VI altos produced by Selmer Paris. Manufactured in 1974, the serial number crosses over with the introduction of the Mark VII. This alto is being offered in as-is playing condition or with a full overhaul. The original lacquer is quite spotty.
Note: Our repair shop offers lacquer stripping and hand polishing

Manufactured in 1956 and in superior condition with it's original matching numbered neck. Almost all of the finish of the relacquer remains which has taken on a vintage dark greenish hue; As we recall this lacquer color was common with horns that came through Canada. Good pads throughout with plastic resonators. With a medium dark timbre the sound quality is full and pretty. Adjusted and gig ready as-is. The original Chesterfield case is included.
